Hitchcock Speaks Once More

Sorry this post is a bit late, but things haven't quite settled down on the family front yet.

Today we will look at my last two Hitchcock youth story collections. The first one is from 1973.

These are the big hardback editions, with the wraparound covers! Yay!

This one is illustrated by Robert Shaw. He seems capable and I kind of like his style

Here is the introduction from "Alfred Hitchcock." Sadly, Robert Arther passed away in 1969, so I don't know who wrote this.

And here are the stories! Once again, there are some heavy hitters here...

And here is another example of Robert Shaw's artwork.

The next (and final) book I have is from 1977. This is another hardback, wraparound cover edition! I'll admit that I thought this was kind of a weird path to go down for the series, but I guess they were running out of subjects...

This one is illustrated by Stephen Marchesi.

Here is a good example of his style...

Once again, "Alfred" introduces it...

Here are the stories...

And more illustrations...

Alfred Hitchcock passed away in 1980. This was the last of the nine books in the series. The amazing thing is that they still hold up after all of these years, even with adult readers.

I have something different for the "Official Halloween" post!

Until next time, keep searching for treasure!
